eFISH CCND1/IGH Dual Color Dual Fusion Probe has affinity to Translocation t(11;14)(q13;q32). The translocation juxtaposes the CCND1 gene (cyclin D1, a.k.a. PRAD1 and BCL1) next to the IGH (immunoglobulin heavy locus, a.k.a. IGH locus and results in constitutive overexpression of CCND1. The use of eFISH CCND1/IGH Dual Color Dual Fusion Probe along with appropriate filters produces orange signal for labeled CCND1 gene and green signal for labeled IGH. Normal interphase cells or cells without t(11;14)(q13;q32) translocation, two separate orange and two separate green signals are observed. Translocation of t(11;14)(q13;q32) is indicated by the two orange/two green fusion signals in addition to one separate orange signal and one separate green signal.
